Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dallas Fort Worth Airport South, an IHG Hotel

I started calling for pickup from airport before 11pm, no one would pickup. Continued calling, as we were a 70 year old couple feeling insecure standing on street at 11pm. At 5 after, they picked up and said they stop shuttling at 11. I said “how convenient” and he said “miss, if u don’t stop yelling at me, I can’t help”. No yelling was involved at all. Cost us $40 for taxi, we could have gotten 25 minutes earlier. He also acted aggravated next morning when we asked for coffee. It was made, just not brought out. Overworked? Maybe, but not a good employee for sure.

The front desk were accommodating plus they were friendly. The rooms were spacious with a nice color brown scheme. I enjoyed how the bathrooms had soap dispensers in the shower stall so I didn't have to bring my own soap. Holiday Inn had a great breakfast options unlike La Quinta, I was pleased with the hot breakfast fresh food. My favorite selection for the food were the cinnamon rolls, Baco, including the potatoes. The rooms had perfect size beds not to mention I loved how I could feel safe in the room. I also love how the hotel has a no gun policy that makes the hotel even a safe property to always go to. The shuttle driver Jeremy will always have a special place in my heart because he saw me sitting outside behind another building, he gave me $5 so I could buy something to eat at the store. Alexondra also was a sweetheart to me because he made sure I had food to eat plus he also gave an extra bag for my blankets I bought into the hotel. Salia the Hawaiian lady was also accommodating towards Mr plus we had a conversation about her relatives who she said are related to High Chief Peter Mavis who is the grandfather of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I told her about my relatives I had found out I was second distant cousins with bassist Robert Trujillo fro Metallica as well. I would recommend this hotel to anybody I know since it has the best staff plus the manger Jessica had a compassionate side of her that other managers in other hotels don't. I appreciate everything the staff had done for me during my stay.

The location was great and the room was really clean. The lady working the front desk was really sweet and welcomed us. The pool was also nice and spacious.

The property was clean, very friendly staff. It was almost the perfect location, centralized to our activities while visiting with my family during spring break.
